Lorin's Letters

September 5th, 2014 Friday night we drove down to Richfield for the weekend to spend some time with my family. It had been a while. That evening, my dad walks in the door and looks and Jared and says something like " Oh I know why you are here!" (talking about asking for my hand) I could tell jared was already nervous but my dad is pretty good and making people feel comfortable. Then jared asked all of us to leave the room so he can talk to my dad. 30 mins later.... the job has been done!  September 6th, 2014 That morning we woke up naturally and everyone already had plans. My mom was taking the YW hiking and my dad had to go ref out of town. So here we are at home with gma tucker. I had told jared long ago about Fish Lake and how i grew up going there. It wasn't quite time for the colors to be in full fall mode but i still wanted to go. So we jump in the car, turn on the tunes and headed up the mountain! We are lunch at bowery haven then went on the lake shore...

Back in 2009, I was lucky enough to be next door neighbors with some of the coolest guys! Jesse Wride, Austin Anderson and Garrett Hendrickson. They were starting this sweet band and I went over to their house almost every day to hear them practice and mess around. I learned every word of all their songs and became a little obsessed for a while :) I am not ashamed. We all get obsessed with bands! Jesse is INCREDIBLE at the piano and Austin... that kid can play the drums like I've never seen! They had just their little living room to play in and perform for several of us in the ward but I am so glad that I have stayed friends with them over all these years! Because so much time has passed since 2009, they are all married (except Court Eccles on the bass!) and some have cute little babies! They still continue to make music and this is why I am blogging about them today! J.WRIDE I have so many favorite songs but my number one is called LIFEBOAT. Lifeboat is on their album...

**** WARNING*****SAPPY POST***** The last 6 months of my life have been very different than any other time in my life. Falling in love has been so fun, exciting and new! I have always loved other peoples love, but now i get the chance to experience it first hand and its great! I am sure everyone says this about their significant other but i promise you that Jared is the best boyfriend and best friend in the world! When you are in love, you just want to be with that person all the time and never leave their side!
