This past week I had a really comforting experience with prayer and I wanted to share. I have always fallen into a pattern with my prayers that becomes pretty routine. I still feel like I talk to Heavenly Father personally about my life and always give thanks but the other night I really just needed to be comforted. I don't typically ask for that when I pray. I usually take the time to thank Him for all the blessings of that day or little things I felt His hand was a part of. I will also ask him to bless my family or friends or ask for specific things that I need at that time. The other night I was very upset and sad about something that had happened and I was crying so hard. I couldn't even pray. I just sat there unable to even address him. Sometimes starting your prayer just makes you cry harder. A thought came to my mind.. " I just need to be comforted, that is all I need to ask for." Heavenly Father knows us and how we are feeling. It has been so long since i've blogged. My last post was an update about our honeymoon...... haha our anniversary is in 18 days.... oop. In the last year we have had so much fun together! Of course some ups and downs and lots of learning opportunities. Its hard to grow up sometimes but im glad im learning new things that have help me and Jared grow. After countless dollars into car problems, 3 trips to Calgary, weddings upon weddings, graduating from school and finally some quality time with Jared and family, i would say this past year has been a success! We are so blessed! We moved to Orem about 3 weeks ago due to school for Jared and I got a new job! We are loving it! I currently work for doTERRA International at the Spa! It is seriously my dream job! I worked for doTerra last year before Jared and I got married and I loved it but i moved to SLC and found another job and married my main squeeze! Hello my blogger peeps! It has been soooo long since I've blogged! Since Jared and I got engaged it has been hectic and I didn't even think about the blog. Now that things have settled down a bit, I wanted to catch up a bit! The past several months have been pretty up and down. Maybe it was just the birth control combined with planning a wedding AND finals , but I was a mess 24/7. I literally cried every single day. Poor Jared had to put up with me. I passed my finals and WE GOT MARRIED!!! Our wedding day was so beyond perfect and I wish we could do it all over again! thank you to all who were with us to share that special day! HI FRIENDS!! Its been so long since i've blogged. There is way too much to even write about! Ive been considering starting a separate blog about my life outside of concerts and writing about my love for music but i think that would just be annoying. I think I'm just going to combine it! So 3 years ago, right before i left on my mission, my best friends and i went to Mat Kearney and we died. no joke. I pretty much bawled through the whole concert! his YOUNG LOVE album was my absolute favorite. some of my favorite songs from YOUNG LOVE are: LEARNING TO LOVE AGAIN DOWN TWO HEARTS SHIPS IN THE NIGHT (everyone loves this song :)) I still love all his other albums but YOUNG LOVE was a soul shaker for me! I love it! He plays with so much feeling and passion! the last concert was a lot more low key and he talked with us a lot but last night concert was INCREDIBLE!! September 5th, 2014 Friday night we drove down to Richfield for the weekend to spend some time with my family. It had been a while. That evening, my dad walks in the door and looks and Jared and says something like " Oh I know why you are here!" (talking about asking for my hand) I could tell jared was already nervous but my dad is pretty good and making people feel comfortable. Then jared asked all of us to leave the room so he can talk to my dad. 30 mins later.... the job has been done!  September 6th, 2014 That morning we woke up naturally and everyone already had plans. My mom was taking the YW hiking and my dad had to go ref out of town. So here we are at home with gma tucker. I had told jared long ago about Fish Lake and how i grew up going there. It wasn't quite time for the colors to be in full fall mode but i still wanted to go. So we jump in the car, turn on the tunes and headed up the mountain! We are lunch at bowery haven then went on the lake shore...

Back in 2009, I was lucky enough to be next door neighbors with some of the coolest guys! Jesse Wride, Austin Anderson and Garrett Hendrickson. They were starting this sweet band and I went over to their house almost every day to hear them practice and mess around. I learned every word of all their songs and became a little obsessed for a while :) I am not ashamed. We all get obsessed with bands! Jesse is INCREDIBLE at the piano and Austin... that kid can play the drums like I've never seen! They had just their little living room to play in and perform for several of us in the ward but I am so glad that I have stayed friends with them over all these years! Because so much time has passed since 2009, they are all married (except Court Eccles on the bass!) and some have cute little babies! They still continue to make music and this is why I am blogging about them today! J.WRIDE I have so many favorite songs but my number one is called LIFEBOAT. Lifeboat is on their album...
